Established in 1994 to address healthcare workforce issues, the non-profit service provides a free, confidential service for candidates to connect directly with hospitals and health system employers located in the Great Lakes States:

How is Medical Opportunities funded?
The first service, Medical Opportunities in Michigan – www.miMOM.org, was initially grant funded through the Kellogg Foundation. Today, Medical Opportunities is a self-sustaining regional service which includes Medical Opportunities in Ohio – www.ohMOO.org, Opportunities in Medicine in Indiana, www.OMIonline.org, and Practice Opportunities in Pennsylvania – www.POPonline.org.
The services are supported by its members – healthcare employers throughout the Great Lakes region.
